360 LIVE STREAMING FROM LATITUDE

PART 1: THE 360 LIVE STREAM

Last week we headed to sunny Suffolk in a bid to help EE deliver the first ever 360 LIVE STREAM artist performance in the UK. On Saturday, with a broadcast truck, and a specialist 360 team flown in from Greece we did exactly what we promised and live streamed a small and upcoming Glaswegian band called WHITE to the EE social media audience.

Not only did we do it A. Live, B. in 360 and C. via social media, but we also managed to stream it over the superfast EE 4G network.

PART 2: THE IMPRESSIVE APP

We also worked alongside GreenCopper and Crowd Connected to make the most intuitive festival app out there.

Using localised GPS data, we could send out targetted messaging based on where you were and what bands you had been to see at the festival. Alerts also gave you reminders so you didn't miss you favourite bands, and we could send out EE tips for secret performances or information.

This tech is the future of how festivals will gather data on everything from what bands to book, to crowd control, and traffic management and we can't wait to develop it, and push it even further.

Analysts are currently crunching the data so stayed tuned for some impressive stats.
